Maintenance Technician - Weekend Shift

National Beef of North Baltimore, Ohio is seeking a qualified professional to join the Weekend Maintenance Team, working Friday through Monday. The position offers a safe, stable work environment that is caring and supportive, with opportunities for career growth.

Pay

• Starting wage: $29.50 per hour (up to $32.50 per hour with perfect attendance)
• $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd Shift/3rd Shift
• $3.00 per hour Perfect Attendance Bonus paid weekly
• Weekly payroll
• Overtime available after 40 hours per work week

Schedule

Weekend Maintenance Technician – Friday through Monday.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and building systems
• Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment/machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance – lubrication/inspection
• Assist with the installation of equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot, repair, or replace industrial electrical equipment – motors, drives, controls
• Log work activities for equipment history, parts management, and reporting
• Collaborate with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment
• Ability to use common hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to work overtime and be punctual
• Ability to read, write, and speak English (preferred)
• Strong work ethic and eye for detail
• Exemplary safety record with previous employer
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Industrial electrical controls experience
• Electrical experience in 480 V and motor controls
• Industrial maintenance experience
• Refrigeration experience
• Allen Bradley PLC experience (a plus)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available
• Successful completion of a background check required
