About the role
Ranew's Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team in Waterloo, IA. The position requires an extensive maintenance background and work history. The technician will preserve the good condition and functionality of the premises, performing maintenance tasks on a wide variety of equipment and machinery, working autonomously while observing health and safety guidelines to maintain buildings, common areas, and equipment in the best possible condition.
Responsibilities
- Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, and all other jobs required to keep the equipment functioning properly.
- Keep maintenance records up to date on all equipment.
- Communicate with managers on the progress of equipment repairs and maintenance.
