About the role
The Maintenance Technician at Village at South Campus is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the residential facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and other building infrastructure.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas and resident units.
- Respond to resident requests and concerns promptly.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in maintenance or construction.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of building codes and safety standards.
- Experience with common tools and equipment used in maintenance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
