Maintenance Technician - Verandahs of Brighton Bay

Job Description

Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including service requests related to appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, gates, pools, and other community equipment.

Complete preventive maintenance inspections and respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls as needed.

Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents by ensuring units are move-in ready and meet community standards.

Maintain amenity areas, common spaces, and property equipment in a clean, safe, and fully operational condition.

Deliver exceptional resident service through professional communication, timely resolution of maintenance concerns, and adherence to company appearance standards.

Support resident events and foster a positive living experience for community members.

Maintain an organized maintenance shop, monitor inventory levels, and accurately document completed work and service requests.

Aid the Maintenance Manager with daily operations, coordinate effectively with vendors and contractors, and ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience with strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and EPA Refrigerant Certification (Type II or Universal), or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including repairs and upgrades to apartment homes, building systems, and community amenities.
  • Capable of safely using hand tools, testing equipment, and maintenance machinery while meeting all safety standards.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, and moving heavy appliances, equipment, and materials throughout the property.
