Maintenance Technician - Valdok Apartments

About the role

MG Properties is a large regional property management firm with over 30 years of experience acquiring, developing, rehabilitating, and managing apartment communities across the Western United States. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Valdok Apartments in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate is skilled in all trades, customer‑service focused, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean grounds, offices, and common areas
• Complete maintenance service requests
• Perform appliance repairs
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces
• Handle apartment turnovers
• Take emergency calls and respond promptly
• Work on‑call rotation as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in apartment maintenance on a 200‑unit property
• Proficiency in all trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
• Strong customer‑service attitude and flexibility
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Reliable transportation (required)
• Willingness to acknowledge and consent to possible audio recordings during work duties

Pay

• $28‑$34 per hour (DOE)
• Monthly bonuses
