Maintenance Technician - Utilities Focus (D Crew)

About the role

This position serves as maintenance in the service of the equipment to ensure optimal performance; responds to equipment process concerns; prioritizes work orders, PM/CM as needed; adheres to schedules and operational procedures including safety precautions related to the equipment and for performing assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex equipment
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform safety checks on equipment prior to the season of operations
• Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance
• Perform diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures
• Participate in daily maintenance projects and tasks
• Participate in preparatory meetings for maintenance day overhauls and cleans
• Perform follow-up checks to repairs made the previous day
• Report all Production equipment safety and operational hazardous findings to the EHS and Maintenance Manager and generate follow-up work orders to the appropriate department for resolution
• Maintain adequate supply of inventory for projects
• Report on project progress and/or concerns, work-loads, schedules and/or interruptions to the schedule
• Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
• Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
• Provide support in the development of short and long range plans
• Support the development of Maintenance SOPs
• Inspect and record work performed
• Perform other job related duties as assigned
