Maintenance Technician - Town Vineland

About the role

Responsibilities

• Daily: Performs service requests, prepares vacant units for new move-ins, paints, cleans, and performs other maintenance tasks.
• Weekly: Assists in various cleaning functions and monitors the grounds.
• Monthly: Assists in ordering supplies for the property.
• Annually: Performs preventative maintenance duties as outlined in an annual Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Other Duties: Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor; cuts grass, trims weeds, plants flowers, constructs flower garden borders, cleans internal areas, washes windows, paints, repairs parking lots and sidewalks, maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, and assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Good communication skills with the general public.
• Must be able to operate tools such as a power drill, power saw, pressure washer, lawn mower, shop uses, and other tools normally used in the duties of this job.
