Maintenance Technician TN-2nd Shift

About the role

This position reports to the Facility & Maintenance Manager. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed phases of tool room/machinist/maintenance work.
• Perform duties associated with all areas of production due to maintenance issues.
• Welding (MIG) due to maintenance issues.
• Repair and maintain weld fixtures.
• Operation of all tool room machinery.
• Build prototype products and test units.
• Perform daily and monthly maintenance, including monthly fire extinguisher check, monthly housekeeping audit, maintenance records, and internal auditor temporarily.
• Manage the preventative maintenance program: perform the PM schedule as assigned on the maintenance calendar, complete all documentation, and place documents in proper locations in maintenance folders.
• Perform any additional duties that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

Requirements

• Ability to gain knowledge and perform in all areas of production.
• Experience in MIG welding.
• Knowledge of basic tool room skills preferred.
• Maintenance experience in manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to obtain JOST International Fork Truck Certification.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products.
• Comply with quality, environmental, safety, and JOST company policies and procedures.
• Physical requirements: work performed in a production plant 100% of time; regularly stand, walk, reach, bend, twist; occasionally stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
