KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Repair and/or replace electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using computerized maintenance system
- Observe quality, reliability, scrap, and safety goals
- Follow site safety policies and procedures
- Identify potential machine, system, and component failures
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Operate shop equipment including milling machine, band saw, drill press, lathe, welder, and electrical multimeter
- Aid in maintaining inventory of spare parts
- Work with supervisors to resolve technical process issues
- Maintain cleanliness of maintenance work areas
POSITION REQUIRMENTS
- 2-5 years of “hands-on” Manufacturing Maintenance experience
- Reads and interprets operating and maintenance instructions, instruction manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Qualified to perform basic electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Good understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Familiarity with PLC, robotics, and servo controls
