Maintenance Technician - The Rothbury

Responsibilities

• Show care and concern for residents through excellence in service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move‑in through turn‑over repairs and improvements.
• Preserve building beauty and community safety through general upkeep, cleanliness, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Work weekends or evenings and be on call for after‑hour emergencies.

Requirements

• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• HVAC certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Availability for emergency situations, including participation in an on‑call rotation.
• Ability to exert 25–50 lb of force frequently, and/or 10–20 lb of force constantly.
• Personal, reliable transportation for work and on‑call emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps, and computer programs.
• Service‑oriented mindset and a thirst for learning.

Pay

The salary range reflects the low and high ends of Klingbeil Capital Management’s range for this position; actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, location, performance, and other factors. Total compensation may also include short‑term and long‑term incentives and region‑specific benefits.

Schedule

Weekend and evening shifts are required, with participation in an on‑call rotation for after‑hour emergencies.
