Maintenance Technician - The Berkman

About the role

Greystar is a leading real estate platform managing and operating over $300 billion of real estate in more than 265 markets globally. This Maintenance Technician position is located in Rochester, Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing and new move-ins by completing the make-ready process.
• Manages inventory and schedules vendor services.
• Documents and tracks service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Supports cost-cutting initiatives and follows safety protocols.
• Inspects work performed by contractors and vendors.
• Conducts routine and periodic property inspections.

Requirements

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (for Certified Service Technicians).
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions (for all Service Technicians).
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable).

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
• Experience working in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet).
• Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
• Rare or regular travel may be required.
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $23.00- $24.00.

Schedule

Monday- Friday, 9:00am- 6:00pm, on call rotation every 3-4 weeks.
