Maintenance Technician - St. Clare

About the role

The successful Maintenance Technician will complete preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers. As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and a hazard-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Cleans up after work is complete.
• Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
• Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.
• Knowledge and skills:
• Takes direction from the supervisor.
• Reads, writes, does basic math, and follows instructions.
• Flexible to change work plans.
• Maintains a professional personal appearance.
• Learns to legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance).

Qualifications

Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience. Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work. Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.

Pay

$22 per hour, dependent on experience.

Schedule

Early close Fridays (3 paid hours each Friday), Early close prior to a holiday (3 paid hours).
