Maintenance Technician - SIGN ON BONUS!!!

About the role

Phillips Medisize, a Molex company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our metal injection molding facility in Menomonie, WI. This role provides technical maintenance support for the production floor to ensure maximum equipment uptime and continuous improvement of production processes.

Responsibilities

• Support all production and facility equipment downtime incidents to achieve quick resolution, minimizing downtime and maximizing uptime.
• Improve equipment efficiency, utilization, and yields through continuous‑improvement techniques.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance work orders for equipment in compliance with ISO (Environmental and Quality Systems) and/or FDA requirements.
• Assist with the installation of equipment.
• Think outside the box and assist others as needed.
• Participate in coordination of building renovation projects.
• Adhere to quality, health, and safety regulations and standards.
• Ensure accurate inventory control of spare equipment components, tracking consumption in accordance with ISO and/or FDA requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting industrial automation equipment (basic qualification).
• Prior experience with automation, injection molding technology, and/or regulated compliance work environments.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, blueprints, schematics, pneumatics, and robotics.
• Knowledge of electronics, PLCs, and electrical test equipment.
• Prior experience with industrial furnaces and/or heat‑treatment processes.
• Understanding of manufacturing principles (GMP highly desired).
• Experience with industrial building maintenance.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• This position does not qualify for VISA sponsorship.
• Applicants must provide proof of U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent resident status, or be eligible for an export authorization under ITAR/EAR.

Schedule

3rd shift: Sunday – Friday, 11 pm – 7 am (training will be conducted on the first shift).

Compensation

Sign‑on bonus: $2,500.
