Maintenance Technician Senior - Millennium Space Systems

Position Responsibilities

• Follows safe working practices and makes appropriate use of related safety equipment as required
• Fixes potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Inspects buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues
• Inspects facilities and grounds for safety and security, by applying preventative measures to reduce the risk of future problems
• Conducts periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard
• Maintains the building HVAC equipment to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
• Maintains and repairs production equipment as assigned
• Maintains the inventory records for equipment and supplies
• Maintains records and logs of daily activities
• Repairs faulty equipment units and damaged structures
• Performs custodial tasks as needed
• Affords structural pest control measures
• Assists with Millennium’s monthly special events as needed
• Assists with office and equipment moves as assigned
• Develops and implements preventative maintenance procedures
• Provides guidance and training to lower-level staff

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years minimum of relevant maintenance experience
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work at varying heights and cramped spaces
• Experience with Aerospace production equipment (e.g., TVAC, thermocycle chambers, vibration operations)
