Maintenance Technician- Second Shift

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
  • Install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
  • Inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance to prevent failures.
  • Maintain lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and building infrastructure.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Document maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Technical training or industrial maintenance certification required.
  • Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience required.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Work around machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
