Maintenance Technician - Second Shift

Support the objectives of production through the Maintenance function by implementing assigned tasks and supplying continuity between engineering and managerial functions. Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems for production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks according to set production maintenance priorities, including repairing and troubleshooting all equipment and support systems for the facility.
• Assist with the repair and maintenance of the physical structure.
• Supervise maintenance contractors, when required.
• Maintain a Maintenance Action Log by equipment to track individual repairs and serve as a baseline for future preventive maintenance.
• Participate in startup and shutdown activities, as required; assist with Shutdown Task planning and scheduling.
• Work with vendors/OEM to obtain parts pricing and repair recommendations for process equipment and systems.
• Incorporate safe practices while completing assigned maintenance work order activities.
• Maintain the Maintenance Department work area, clean up after each task, and perform daily care for tools and proper storage of supplies.
• Comply with all Company, Local, State, and Federal rules and regulations regarding Health, Safety, and the Environment.
• Other duties may be assigned or current duties modified/changed.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or a minimum of 5 years in Industrial Maintenance in a manufacturing setting (Electrical preferred).
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, instrumentation, and other electronics.
• Willingness to learn and attend training classes as defined by Management.
• PC literacy and proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment and procedures.
• Basic welding skills a plus.
• Familiarity with OSHA and Environmental Regulations.
• Good communication skills and ability to work a flexible working schedule including shift work.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, and/or lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday–Friday
