Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the “make-ready” process for vacant apartment homes.
• Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials.
• Completes documentation and paperwork.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs.

Other Responsibilities

• Complies with safety and risk-management policies.
• Inspects work performed by contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Conducts routine and periodic property inspections.

Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods.
• Bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
• Work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
• Push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
• Rare or regular travel may be required.
• Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Licenses or Certifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (Certified Service Technicians).
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions (all Service Technicians).
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable).

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar field. Must have a valid driver's license and a valid Class C commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a Passenger Endorsement. Must have a valid EPA certification Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling. Must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00
