Maintenance Technician - Plant
About the role
Complete basic maintenance tasks including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, carpentry, appliance/equipment install and maintenance, construction, minor automotive repair, and more. Coordinate, prioritize, and complete work orders and special projects independently, effectively, and in a cost-conscious manner with minimal direct supervision. Provide polite, professional customer service to maintain good working relationships with all operational staff and management. Respond to on-call emergency maintenance needs on nights and weekends in rotation with the maintenance team. Perform preventative maintenance at all locations, including HVAC filters and tablets, septic and water systems, vehicle fluids, light bulb replacement, and more. Complete minor repairs and troubleshooting of company vehicles and transport vehicles for repairs or use at various facilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- 2+ years of construction, maintenance, or similar experience required
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing
- HVAC certification preferred
- Electrical, plumbing, or small motor vehicle certification preferred
- All basic tools for general maintenance projects supplied by technician
- Previous working experience utilizing large rented equipment (e.g., Bobcat, trench digger, jackhammer, cherry picker) and basic office equipment
- Able to work in the U.S. and not require Visa Sponsorship now or in the future
