Maintenance Technician (Part Time)

Since 1982, Wellspring has championed mental health recovery in Louisville. Serving some of the most vulnerable people in our community, Wellspring supports adults in building healthy and hopeful lives through behavioral health, supportive housing, and employment services. We believe recovery is possible for all people with psychiatric disabilities and our recovery-oriented programming incorporates person-centered care utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach.

About the role

Wellspring is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to ensure the effective upkeep, maintenance, and repair of all Wellspring facilities, including offices and residential facilities.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, electric, drywall, mechanical, landscaping, etc., preferably in residential maintenance
• Experience with work order management applications is preferred
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Clearance of state and federal background checks, multiple abuse/sex offender registries, and exclusion lists prior to employment
• Successful passing of a physical for fitness determination for duty
• A dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and maintaining automotive insurance is required
• Must provide own basic hand tools; allowances will be given for upgrade or replacement, when applicable

Pay

$20-$25 per hour

Schedule

Monday - Friday, flexible hours between 7 AM - 5 PM, 20-30 hours per week
