Maintenance Technician (part time)

About the role

We are seeking an energetic, responsible, and dependable maintenance technician to work part-time (24-28 hours) at an elderly housing facility in Nashua. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and proficient in basic painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. Under direction, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, facilities, and grounds. A valid driver’s license and availability for on-call duties as needed are required.

Responsibilities

• Clean vacant units, interior spaces, and grounds
• Ensure vacant units are turned over in a timely fashion
• Grounds keeping, landscaping, and snow removal
• Paint building interiors and associated prep-work
• Miscellaneous carpentry repairs
• Appliance repairs
• Repair or replace plumbing fixtures
• Change locks
• Maintain supplies and records
• Solicit bids for major repairs, purchases, or contracts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to perform any task that is required (e.g., janitorial, gardening)
• Familiarity with maintenance-related software, including Yardi Mobile, is a plus
• Good work safety habits
• Good communication skills
• Ability to interact with a diverse range of people

Schedule

Part-time, 24-28 hours per week, with on-call availability as needed.
