About the role
The role is responsible for providing educational support to students in Catholic schools.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans
- Supervise students during class time and breaks
- Provide academic support and guidance to students
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Catholic school curriculum and values
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid New York State certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
