Responsibilities
- Supporting day-to-day building operations to ensure a safe, clean, and functional facility
- Performing basic preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems
- Aiding with routine upkeep and minor repairs on shop equipment (forklifts, weld machines, CNC equipment, and related systems)
- Conducting general inspections to identify wear, safety risks, or equipment concerns before they impact production
- Partnering with maintenance engineers and production teams to support equipment readiness and facility needs
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety, organization, and on-time completion of assigned tasks
Requirements
- 1–2 years of facility, maintenance, or industrial experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience)
- Hands-on experience or exposure to industrial equipment such as forklifts, welding equipment, or CNC machines
- Basic mechanical aptitude (ability to use hand tools, perform minor repairs, and assist with maintenance tasks)
- Ability to identify equipment issues and communicate clearly with maintenance teams
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete work accurately and on time
- Commitment to following safety policies and procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Dependability, including consistent attendance and clear communication with supervisors
- Ability to work in a physical environment (standing, walking, lifting, and moving throughout the facility)
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for grasping, handling tools, and repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- Ability to work at heights, in confined or tight spaces, and around moving machinery
- Ability to work in variable indoor and outdoor environments, including noise, dust, heat, and cold
