Maintenance Technician - On Call - $25.00-$30.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues across multiple restaurant locations, including: Kitchen equipment (ovens, smokers, fryers, refrigeration units, etc.), Plumbing issues (leaks, clogs, fixtures), Basic electrical (lighting, outlets, switches), General facility repairs (doors, hinges, shelving, minor carpentry).
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
• Identify potential issues before they become major problems.

On-Call & Multi-Location Support

• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner across all store locations.
• Travel between locations as needed to complete repairs.
• Communicate clearly with store leadership regarding timelines and repair status.
• Prioritize urgent issues that impact operations, safety, or customer experience.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all repairs meet safety and operational standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas during and after repairs.
• Follow all company safety protocols when working with equipment and tools.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or handyman work (restaurant or commercial kitchen experience strongly preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of back-of-house kitchen equipment and systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
• Comfortable handling a wide range of repairs (mechanical, minor electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Able to lift, carry, and move equipment (up to ~50 lbs).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
