Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair issues across multiple restaurant locations, including: Kitchen equipment (ovens, smokers, fryers, refrigeration units, etc.), Plumbing issues (leaks, clogs, fixtures), Basic electrical (lighting, outlets, switches), General facility repairs (doors, hinges, shelving, minor carpentry).
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
- Identify potential issues before they become major problems.
On-Call & Multi-Location Support
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner across all store locations.
- Travel between locations as needed to complete repairs.
- Communicate clearly with store leadership regarding timelines and repair status.
- Prioritize urgent issues that impact operations, safety, or customer experience.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and operational standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas during and after repairs.
- Follow all company safety protocols when working with equipment and tools.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or handyman work (restaurant or commercial kitchen experience strongly preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of back-of-house kitchen equipment and systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
- Comfortable handling a wide range of repairs (mechanical, minor electrical, plumbing, etc.).
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
- Able to lift, carry, and move equipment (up to ~50 lbs).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
