Maintenance Technician - NY56

About the role

• Performs minor electrical maintenance.
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to perform HVAC filter changes.
• Performs general construction such as painting, carpentry for smaller tenant improvement projects, or general property maintenance.
• Performs janitorial maintenance, including cleaning rooms, common hallways, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, parking lots, and trash removal.
• Performs grounds work and landscaping.
• Snow removal.
• Assists with third-party vendor access and coordination.
• May respond to emergency maintenance situations.
• May be required to be on call after-hours for emergencies or snow removal.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
• Follows all safety and OSHA-related policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service-oriented with a “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to meet or exceed attendance and punctuality standards.
• Ability to use common tools.
• Ability to understand and follow directions with minimal supervision.
• Sound judgment and effective time management.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.

Pay

USD $28.00 - USD $30.00 per hour.
