Maintenance Technician NO ON-CALL

We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and driven individual for property maintenance. This independent position focuses on basic maintenance for rental properties across Dane County. No technical training or schooling is required, and there is no overtime or on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic maintenance for managed properties as assigned
• Perform and deliver exceptional quality work and services
• Complete tasks in a timely manner
• Track and enter work order hours, notes, and receipts via mobile app
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in property maintenance or related field
• General maintenance and repair knowledge, including but not limited to: handyman skills, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall, landscaping, painting, and HVAC
• Ability to prepare, write, and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff
• Ability to use property management software and work order systems
• Willingness to learn new skills on the job
• Must provide your own tools for basic maintenance functions
• Must have your own transportation (maintenance van and gas card provided)

Pay

$28–32 per hour
