Maintenance Technician, Nights

About the role

The Van Drunen Family of Companies is growing! Expected Pay Range: $25.19 - $31.27. Bonus: This role may further qualify for supplemental compensation in the form of bonus and incentive programs, contingent upon achieving pre-established individual and company performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance to keep equipment, facilities, and operations running safely and efficiently.
• Complete work orders, repair equipment, and support general maintenance of machinery, buildings, and shop areas.
• Aid in minor construction projects, welding, fabrication tasks, and facility repairs, including doors, windows, fencing, roofing, and painting.
• Support multiple departments by transporting equipment, organizing materials, and assisting with general labor needs across facilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while ensuring equipment reliability and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams, supervisors, and facility leaders to identify and implement improvements.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and minor construction.
• Basic welding and fabrication experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using power tools such as drills, grinders, impacts, and saws.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• High school diploma or GED required, with bilingual English/Spanish and basic refrigeration knowledge preferred.

Skills

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, reaching, lifting, and use of tools and equipment throughout the shift.
Ability to work at elevated heights and perform physical maintenance activities safely.
Exposure to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and cold environments.
Work in environments with moderate to loud noise levels.
