Maintenance Technician-Nights

Duties & Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company safety protocols and participate in periodic Environmental, Health, and Safety training.
• Respond promptly to equipment issues that impact production and/or safety.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems across various equipment, including motors, pumps, valves, instrumentation, PLCs, centrifuges, heat exchangers, steam-tube dryers, boilers, conveyors, augers, hammer mills, and process tanks and vessels.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Prioritize tasks through effective communication with the Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Supervisor, and process teams.
• Utilize the CMMS system to manage tasks and document results effectively.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Training or Relevant Maintenance Experience is Preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrates accountability and upholds high standards in all situations.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Able to work a flexible work schedule with varying days and hours, including call-ins.
• Able to work outdoors in all seasons and work at heights.
• Able to climb ladders and stairs and lift up to 100lbs.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, hear and speak, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Specific vision requirements, including correctable vision, are required to complete work safely.

Compensation & Benefits

• The starting wage for this position is $35/hour, with potential adjustments based on skills, experience and qualifications.
