Key Responsibilities And Performance Expectations
- Production Line & Equipment Maintenance: Perform maintenance to achieve minimal downtime.
- Work Order Development & Prioritization: Collaborate with supervisors and leads to develop and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely completion.
- Work Order Completion: Accurately complete work orders as assigned, maintaining a 85% on-time completion rate.
- Workplace Organization (6S) & Production Efficiency (TPM): Contribute to 6S and TPM programs, achieving 80% adherence and reducing inefficiencies by 25%.
- Operator Training & Support: Assist and train operators in performing CIL checks, reducing maintenance-related issues.
- Preventative Maintenance Process Support: Support preventative maintenance tasks, aiming for a reduction in unplanned downtime.
- Line Commissioning Assistance: Contribute to the successful commissioning of production lines, minimizing adjustments required.
- Plant Projects Participation: Assist with plant projects to improve plant efficiency.
- Team Value & Collaboration: Focus on teamwork and contribute positively to team goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience with electrical, electronic, motor controller drives, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Experience with troubleshooting systems to minimize downtime and resolve issues swiftly (target 15% reduction in troubleshooting time).
- Manufacturing Background: Strong experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments, keeping up with high-demand production schedules. PLC Logic knowledge is a plus.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, aiming to resolve issues independently without escalation. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Mathematical Skills: Strong mathematical skills, applying them effectively to maintenance tasks and troubleshooting.
- Interpersonal Skills & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication with various audiences, including clear instructions upward and downward within the organization.
- Self-Direction & Motivation: Self-directed, motivated, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs and maneuver large, cumbersome equipment.
- Must be able to wear and work in personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Must be able to work in environments where temperatures may vary and stand for extended periods.
- Must successfully pass a physical abilities test to confirm capability to perform work-related tasks.
Education Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Advanced education or related certifications are a plus.
Certifications & Licenses
- Completion of a two-year Maintenance Certification course is a plus.
- Stick and wire welding experience with structural welding certification is a plus.
- Forklift experience required, with the ability to complete Return Polymers Forklift Certification program.
