About the Company
IRCA is a leading international provider of semi-finished ingredients for the bakery, pastry, and gelato markets, serving independent producers as well as large food manufacturers (e.g., CPG). Core products include chocolate, chocolate decorations, creams, pastry mixes, gelato ingredients, and other bakery/pastry ingredients. Headquartered in Italy, IRCA was acquired by Advent International, a global private equity firm, in July 2022. The company has a strong growth track record, including two bolt-on acquisitions in 2022 (Cesarin for candied fruits and Anastasi for pistachio ingredients) and recent exclusive negotiations to acquire a leading manufacturer of sweet and cereal products in Europe and the U.S. This transformative deal aims to create a global leader in semi-finished ingredients, with 22 manufacturing facilities across Europe, the U.S., and Vietnam, and combined revenues of €1 billion (2022).
