Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

About the role
The Maintenance Technician performs skilled tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. This role supports operational efficiency by following safety protocols and using preventive and predictive maintenance practices to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and ensure optimal system performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of maintenance duties to install, troubleshoot, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment
- Respond promptly to emergency and unscheduled equipment repairs during production, while completing scheduled maintenance during planned downtime
- Carry out basic machinist tasks to support equipment repair and fabrication
- Apply strong mechanical aptitude across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to diagnose issues and perform repairs
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete maintenance tasks accurately
- Identify root causes of equipment failures, repair or replace defective components, and test systems to ensure proper operation
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facility systems to maximize uptime and efficiency
- Safely operate hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and material handling devices
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, faulty operations, or defective materials
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Provide cross-coverage for team members during vacations or absences as needed
- Support overall operations by performing additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and apply mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical conduct and workplace safety
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and clearly report issues
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on efficiency, quality, and minimizing downtime
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
- 6 months to 1 year of related maintenance or technical experience preferred
- Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Schedule
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
