Maintenance Technician - Night Shift
About the role
At ARMOR-IIMAK, we innovate and manufacture Thermal Transfer Ribbons, Direct Thermal Films & Industrial & Digital Inkjet Inks for products used every day. The Automation Technician is responsible for the equipment and systems of the plant operations in Armor IIMAK plants in the Americas Zone, working with variable frequency drives, PLC, and systems associated with automation equipment.
Repair and install systems and components on industrial machinery and equipment following codes, manuals, diagrams, and other specifications using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Complete mechanical equipment repairs/troubleshooting, including bearings, general machine parts, pneumatic systems, and piping systems.
Document and complete maintenance work orders in a work order management system listing labor hours, parts used, and a detailed record of completed tasks. Focus on continuous improvement of PM Programs to maximize equipment uptime and increase productivity. Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Repair and install systems/components on industrial machinery using hand/power tools and testing equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment (bearings, machine parts, pneumatic/piping systems)
- Document maintenance work orders with labor hours, parts used, and task details
- Improve PM Programs to maximize equipment uptime and productivity
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment compliant with policies
- Travel to other sites for support or training as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in a maintenance capacity in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics (CAD experience a plus)
- Flexibility to work an altered schedule to accommodate business needs
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with minimal supervision

Schedule
B shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday (12-hour shifts).
