About the role
Maintain and repair multifamily properties, including commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and make ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs.
- Respond to resident requests promptly and professionally.
- Perform tasks such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, carpentry, painting, and snow removal.
- Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities.
- On-call scheduling for after-hour emergencies.
- Report maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Follow a maintenance schedule set by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal fair housing laws.
- Participate in training programs as required.
- Deliver superior customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain company tools and equipment.
- Attend to duties as assigned, ensuring reliability and punctuality.
- Comply with safety regulations and follow all safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license, EPA 608 - Minimum Type II and CPO or local city required certificate.
- Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and prepare and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to solve problems using common sense and understanding.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and use standard office equipment.
- May require occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving objects up to 100 pounds.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
- 1+ years of related experience.
Skills
- Knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, general carpentry skills, painting, and snow removal.
- Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and prepare and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to solve problems using common sense and understanding.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to adhere to safety procedures and follow all safety regulations.

Schedule
