Maintenance Technician (Multicraft Mechanic Millwright Electrician)

We currently produce 260,134 tons annually of Dog Chow®, Cat Chow®, Kit n Kaboodle®, Alpo®, Beneful®, Nestlé Purina ONE Beyond®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, and Pro Plan®.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair plant systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation
• Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general plant electrical equipment such as starters, PLCs, start/stop stations, motors (up to 480V)

Requirements

• 1+ years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military, or related environment OR 2 Year Technical Degree

Qualifications

Must be willing to work all shifts including nights and weekends

Skills

• Understanding of measurement and testing devices and mechanical systems
• Demonstrate good working knowledge of electrical diagrams and/or circuits and utilize during troubleshooting
• Intermediate understanding of PLC’s, ability to access program for troubleshooting purposes (would not be expected to program PLC's)

Benefits

The approximate pay for this position is $39.35 - $50.63 per hour. The pay progression plan follows: Maintenance Technician D $39.35, Maintenance Technician C 40.76, Maintenance Technician B $42.74, Maintenance Technician A $46.35, Maintenance Technician A+ $50.63. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. Pay

The approximate pay for this position is $39.35 - $50.63 per hour.
