About the role

Seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join Kane Realty Corporation, a Raleigh-based company with significant growth potential. The Maintenance Technician will be part of a team responsible for overall maintenance and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting
  • Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls, and building exteriors
  • Making ready units for new move-ins
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems; maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systems
  • Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance (pre-scheduled times)
  • Available to work some weekends
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities
  • Complete grounds work: grounds pickup, sweeping, and light landscaping
  • Pool maintenance
  • Coordinate special projects as directed by maintenance supervisor or property manager

Requirements

  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multitasking throughout the day

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous maintenance experience in multi-family housing
  • HVAC Certification (CFC certification) & CPO
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass pre-employment criminal history and drug screen

Pay

$500 sign-on bonus.
