Maintenance Technician (Multi-Family, Durham)

About the role
Seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join Kane Realty Corporation, a Raleigh-based company with significant growth potential. The Maintenance Technician will be part of a team responsible for overall maintenance and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting
- Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls, and building exteriors
- Making ready units for new move-ins
- Knowledge of HVAC systems; maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systems
- Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance (pre-scheduled times)
- Available to work some weekends
- Perform preventative maintenance activities
- Complete grounds work: grounds pickup, sweeping, and light landscaping
- Pool maintenance
- Coordinate special projects as directed by maintenance supervisor or property manager
Requirements
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multitasking throughout the day
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous maintenance experience in multi-family housing
- HVAC Certification (CFC certification) & CPO
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass pre-employment criminal history and drug screen
Pay
$500 sign-on bonus.
