About the role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the multi-family property in downtown Raleigh.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartments, common areas, and facilities.
- Respond to tenant requests and emergencies promptly.
- Keep common areas clean and organized.
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related experience in maintenance or similar field.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Skills
- Customer service orientation.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
