Maintenance Technician/ Millwright

About the role

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians / Millwrights for our quarries located in Cowan, TN, Shelbyville, TN, and Fayetteville, TN. The successful candidates will maintain and repair plant operations, including crushers, conveyors, and screens. The role may also include general work around the quarry operation and other duties as assigned. Hours are flexible and may require night and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fixed plant operations, including crushers, conveyors, and screens.
• Perform fabrication, cutting, and stick/MIG welding.
• Provide leadership, direction, and work planning for plant maintenance, fabrication, and heavy repair projects.
• Diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed.
• Work independently without constant supervision.
• Adapt to flexible working hours and locations.
• Maintain an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Requirements

• Previous fixed plant maintenance or related industry experience is required.
• Experience with crushers, conveyors, and screens is preferred but not required.
• Experience in fabricating, cutting, and stick/MIG welding is required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and perform repairs.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to adapt to different work environments and schedules.

Pay

Starting wage: $25/hr.
