Maintenance Technician- Midnight shift 10:50p-7:00a

Second Nature Brands is on a mission to grow from $500M to $1B over the next 2 years through an aggressive combination of M&A and organic growth. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Second Nature Brands.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on production equipment, packaging machinery, conveyors, boilers, refrigeration systems, and other facility infrastructure.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely resolutions to maintain production efficiency.
• Follow and enforce safety protocols, including lockout/tagout.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure equipment operates in compliance with SQF (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA Safety.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment performance.
• Aid in equipment installation, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
• Adhere to FDA, SQF (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA Safety policies.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Preform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in maintenance, mechatronics, or industrial technology preferred.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to read and write in English proficiently.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Standing for 8-10 hrs.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and perform tasks in confined spaces.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by company.

Skills

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in food manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven ability to adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

Pay

The starting rate is $26 per hour plus $1.00 shift premium.

Schedule

Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, 10:50pm to 7:00am, with weekday or weekend overtime as needed.
