About the role
This position works closely with Maintenance Mechanics to safely analyze and repair mechanical machinery malfunctions. The incumbent will assist in the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of general production and facility equipment, including:
- Assembling and installing pipe systems and supports
- Repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and pumping equipment
- Installing pipe for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production systems
- Performing dry can changes and general building and machine repairs
Responsibilities include completing a daily maintenance work log, issuing purchase order requests for repair parts, demonstrating cooperation and leadership, and providing assistance and training to fellow workers as needed.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fixer or Setup Tech required
- Technical Certificate in Maintenance field highly preferred
- 2+ years of solid, above-average work-related experience in machine maintenance for a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work unsupervised and safely
- Demonstrated cooperation, leadership, and teamwork skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong mechanical aptitude
- Effective communication skills
- Computer experience with Microsoft Office, basic math, and weight conversions
- Detail-oriented for accurate recording of material and inventory data
- Practical experience with measuring tools and hand tools (e.g., hammer, pry bar, utility knife, scissors)
Pay
Base pay rate: $25.50 per hour plus shift differential:
- Nights (M-Th): +$0.55/hr
- Fri-Sun Days/Nights: +$1.20/hr
Additional pay incentives:
- Standard overtime (1.5x hourly rate)
- Annual bonus up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance
