Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing Equipment
About the role
We're hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and improve high-speed production equipment in a food packaging environment. This role is ideal for an experienced technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills, including PLCs, control systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and preventive maintenance while helping us maintain high standards for GMP, SQF, sanitation, and food packaging safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance on production and auxiliary equipment
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and repair equipment to restore safe, effective operation
- Complete corrective and preventive maintenance work orders on schedule
- Support machine modifications, equipment upgrades, and capital improvement projects
- Aid in the development of preventive maintenance programs for new and rebuilt equipment
- Maintain compliance with GMP, SQF, OSHA, National Electric Code, NFPA, and company safety standards
- Work professionally with team members to resolve issues and support continuous improvement
Requirements
This role is ideal for an experienced technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills, including PLCs, control systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and preventive maintenance. Preferences for 2nd and 3rd shift candidates.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Electronics, or a related field and 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, or 6+ years of progressively responsible industrial maintenance experience.
Skills
- Ability to safely use hand tools and electronic test equipment
- Read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder logic programs
- Knowledge of PLCs, digital and analog servo systems, and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and using computers for machine control testing
- Experience with soldering, ARC welding, and MIG welding (preferred)
- Strong communication skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, and a safety-first mindset including LOTO and PPE practices
Benefits
- Compensation Pay rate: $29.00 – $31.00
- Team Members working the Night Shift will qualify for an additional .75 cents per hour shift differential

Schedule
Regular schedule is Sunday through Thursday 11:00pm to 7:00am
