Maintenance Technician - Make Ready

Weinstein Properties is looking for a Maintenance Technician – Make Ready to join our team. Pay

• Starting at $20/hour
• $21/hour if you are or become EPA certified
• On‑call pay: $150/week (calls or no calls)
• Additional $150 per holiday on‑call
• Quarterly bonus: up to $980 based on property and team performance

Schedule

• Full‑time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (40 hours/week)
• Participation in a rotating emergency on‑call schedule with the team

Responsibilities

• Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed
• Maintain property grounds daily
• Help maintain overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

Requirements

• At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• No HVAC certification required if willing to train and work towards certification
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands‑on HVAC troubleshooting/repair experience is a plus
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and prioritizing tasks

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year‑round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
