Join our team as a Maintenance Technician in Avondale, AZ! Bring your maintenance skills to a team where your work truly matters. We're hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team at Madison Heights, a 143-unit affordable housing community in Avondale, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
- Maintain exterior of the property along with tackling seasonal prep such as fall cleanup.
- Perform daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe, and looking sharp.
- Respond promptly to routine and on-call emergency maintenance requests when assigned.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using make-ready checklists.
- Inspect buildings and grounds to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
- Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and grounds.
- Communicate with vendors, contractors, co-workers and residents.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of previous experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
- Customer service mindset and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability requirements.
- Strong customer service skills with a resident-first mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- HVAC-EPA (Type II), or EPA Universal preferred.
