About the role
The Maintenance Technician Level 2 position at Elm Grove A, a well-established Real Estate Development and Property Management firm based in Rochester NH, is seeking an individual with maintenance experience and a positive attitude. Key responsibilities include performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, responding to service requests, conducting inspections, assisting with turnovers, and supporting snow removal and seasonal maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs in areas such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
- Respond promptly to resident and tenant service requests, providing courteous and professional communication.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Assist with apartment and office turnovers, including cleaning, painting, and fixture replacement.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition; report shortages or repair needs.
- Support snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal maintenance as needed.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
- Adhere to all Elm Grove safety policies, procedures, and company standards of conduct.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of general maintenance or related experience preferred
- Basic understanding of building systems and general trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
