Maintenance Technician Level 2

About the role

A well-established Real Estate Development and Property Management firm is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician Level 2 to join their team in Rochester NH.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs in areas such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Respond promptly to resident and tenant service requests, providing courteous and professional communication.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Assist with apartment and office turnovers, including cleaning, painting, and fixture replacement.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition; report shortages or repair needs.
• Support snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal maintenance as needed.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
• Adhere to all Elm Grove safety policies, procedures, and company standards of conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 12 years of general maintenance or related experience preferred
• Basic understanding of building systems and general trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining property excellence
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform duties in varying environmental conditions
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
