Maintenance Technician Lead - 2ND Shift

We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to support and coordinate daily maintenance operations while ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency. This role is responsible for guiding maintenance activities, assisting with troubleshooting and repairs, monitoring work quality, and helping reduce downtime through effective preventive maintenance. The position works closely with the maintenance team and production to ensure equipment and systems are maintained in accordance with company standards, safety requirements, and operational needs, while also supporting continuous improvement in maintenance practices. Responsibilities Assign and prioritize work based on production needs, equipment status, and team capabilityMonitor work quality and address performance issues as neededProvide guidance and support to technicians to improve job-related skillsEvaluate equipment and systems to identify maintenance and repair needsInspect work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure safe working conditionsEnforce safety procedures and provide training to prevent unsafe practicesInspect and test completed work to confirm it meets required standardsSupport efforts to reduce downtime through preventive maintenance practicesMaintain appropriate inventory levels for parts, tools, and suppliesPrepare and maintain maintenance reports, tracking equipment performance and trendsMaintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment, including adherence to GMPs Experience, Skills, Education High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 5 years of maintenance experience requiredPrevious leadership experience preferredStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsKnowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety practicesAbility to read and interpret technical documents and specificationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate within a teamExperience with maintenance systems and equipment optimization Compensation Base Pay Range: $27.01 - $45.01 Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to; role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal pay equity. Please keep in mind that we consider internal pay equity and hiring at the maximum of the salary range uncommon.
