The hospital focuses on medical care for dogs and cats and is expanding operating hours to include evening and weekend shifts. The position involves kennel care, janitorial services, and supporting the veterinary team while delivering exceptional customer service, client education, and compassion in every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication to patients
• Handle animals in a fear‑free, low‑stress manner
• Walk dogs and provide basic pet grooming and nail trimming
• Provide compassionate nursing care and animal restraint
• Communicate patient care and status during evening hours
• Perform cleaning, prepare for the next day’s procedures, and general maintenance during non‑customer hours
• Undertake building maintenance, equipment upkeep, and ensure cleanliness

Requirements

• Experience in animal care, animal handling, and customer service
• Proficiency in animal restraint and compassionate nursing care
• Reliable, dynamic, and self‑motivated with a passion for animals
• Ability to communicate effectively regarding patient care

Schedule
