About the role

Madison Communities is a company that develops high-quality, garden-style apartment communities across the Southeast. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding customer service to residents and teammates
• Handling day-to-day maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
• Responding quickly and professionally to service requests
• Ensuring apartments are safe, functional, and move-in ready
• Working with vendors on specialized projects like landscaping and asphalt repairs
• Keeping tools, equipment, and work areas safe and organized

Requirements

• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• A positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic
• Team-oriented mindset with solid communication skills
• 1+ year of maintenance experience (multifamily preferred)
• Certifications (HVAC, EPA, CPO) are a plus

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

Pay

The salary range for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 annually.

Schedule

The Maintenance Technician will work full-time, 40 hours per week.
