Responsibilities
- Ensure safety compliance by adhering to regulations and conducting daily safety checks.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on various types of equipment, including conveyors, pumps, motors, and control systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in machinery and electrical systems using diagnostic tools.
- Coordinate and communicate with the Site leadership team regarding equipment downtime for maintenance.
- Document all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Assist in inventory management for spare parts and equipment.
- Optimize key performance indicators and lead or support special projects and plant improvements.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial platform lifts.
- Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and other technicians to address complex issues and maintain system uptime.
- Supplement process manpower as needed based on training in the skills matrix.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, standing, walking, sitting, kneeling.
- Comfortable operating equipment and repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Able to handle potential changes in temperature, humidity, and wetness in working areas.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years minimum Industrial Maintenance, Fabrication, Landfill RNG, or Reciprocating Compressor experience.
- 2-year technical degree, associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field, or military background is a plus.
- 1-3 years in a Leadership role is a plus.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and edit P&IDs and schematic diagrams.
- Understanding of sensors, actuators, and motion control systems.
