Maintenance Technician III

About the role

The Maintenance Technician III position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks on production equipment and facilities. This role requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Apply floor patch, scarify floor
• General painting
• General concrete work and repairs (broken curbs)
• General construction: door hardware installs and repairs, grid ceiling, sheetrock hanging and repair (mud, tape, etc.)
• Basic carpentry (use of general hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools)
• Ability to operate forklift, skid loader, telehandler, a motor vehicle (standard transmission)
• Ability to operate scissor lift/boom lift
• Ability to pull a trailer (10-20 footer) with a motor vehicle
• Ability to work at heights (Use fall harness, work from moveable or stationary ladders)
• Ability to be Lock Out Tag Out certified
• Ability to lift 50 Lbs.
• Dock door work verification
• Ability to work alone or with others
• Self-motivated

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience. Operating knowledge of machine shop related equipment,
• Valid Driver’s license
• Basic SAP user ability
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment.

Pay

• Weekly Friday pay
