Maintenance Technician II (San Mateo Market)

About the role

The Neighbor Service Technician II is responsible for performing all general maintenance tasks including service requests and turnover functions to maintain and preserve the Neighborhood and provide a quality living environment for the Neighbors.

Responsibilities

• Show Neighbors they feel at HOME, well-cared for, and genuinely proud to live in our Neighborhoods.
• Timely completion of all phases of apartment turnovers.
• Troubleshooting and repair of most major and all minor mechanical systems.
• Basic appliance repairs and installation, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting for Neighbors.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum of two years' experience and/or training in apartment maintenance.
• Basic computer proficiency and understanding of building materials and tools.
• Standing, climbing, balancing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, and visual acuity required.
• Must be available for on-call services.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Communication Skills: Ability to speak, communicate, read, write, and understand English.
• Physical Demands: Requires standing, climbing, balancing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, and visual acuity. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Pay

Compensation Pay Range: $31.00 to $32.25 per hour

Discretionary Semi-Annual Bonus Plan
Standby Pay & On-Call Premium Pay
