This position is a weekend coverage position and is intended to provide 24/7 coverage to the site, working Monday - Friday from 11:00pm to 7:30am, with a start pay range of $26.00.

Responsibilities

The objective of this job is to perform facility repairs and maintain production equipment while performing mechanical and electrical repairs.

  • Process daily work orders and perform upgrades of facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair control cabinets, variable frequency drives, and main electrical distribution panels.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM’s) as assigned on scheduled equipment.
  • Assist Utility Department in general repairs and passivation’s.
  • Maintain GMP and SOP training compliance.
  • Support engineering projects.
  • Maintain GMP and safety compliance.
  • Follow procedures and maintain compliance within the respective areas.
  • Abide by LOTO, PPE and good housekeeping procedures.
  • Repair machine parts using general machine shop equipment.
  • Operate a lathe, mill and welder (preferred but not required).
  • Work in a confined space, entry is required, and respirator qualification is required (training provided).
  • Work in the aseptic environment (training provided).

Qualifications

On the job training is provided for Aseptic Gowning Certification, Forklift & JLG Certification.

  • HS Diploma/GED required.
  • Logical approach to troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience for controls and electrical.
  • Good organizational skills, able to work quickly and under pressure.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented and quality conscious.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Able to use general tools (hand tools, electrical tools, measuring tools, etc.).
  • Ability to operate lathe and milling machine (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years applicable industry experience or technical training.
