This position is a weekend coverage position and is intended to provide 24/7 coverage to the site, working Monday - Friday from 11:00pm to 7:30am, with a start pay range of $26.00.
Responsibilities
The objective of this job is to perform facility repairs and maintain production equipment while performing mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Process daily work orders and perform upgrades of facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair control cabinets, variable frequency drives, and main electrical distribution panels.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM’s) as assigned on scheduled equipment.
- Assist Utility Department in general repairs and passivation’s.
- Maintain GMP and SOP training compliance.
- Support engineering projects.
- Maintain GMP and safety compliance.
- Follow procedures and maintain compliance within the respective areas.
- Abide by LOTO, PPE and good housekeeping procedures.
- Repair machine parts using general machine shop equipment.
- Operate a lathe, mill and welder (preferred but not required).
- Work in a confined space, entry is required, and respirator qualification is required (training provided).
- Work in the aseptic environment (training provided).
Qualifications
On the job training is provided for Aseptic Gowning Certification, Forklift & JLG Certification.
- HS Diploma/GED required.
- Logical approach to troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience for controls and electrical.
- Good organizational skills, able to work quickly and under pressure.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detailed oriented and quality conscious.
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Able to use general tools (hand tools, electrical tools, measuring tools, etc.).
- Ability to operate lathe and milling machine (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years applicable industry experience or technical training.
